One couple from Soroti District inside  the Eastern Region of Uganda do dem modest wedding with a budget of USh300, 000 (KSh8, 500) and waka nearly one  kilometer to the wedding venue.

The reason why dem do this, people still dey wonder as carry dem two legs waka  instead of using a vehicle. Could it be because of insufficient fund?  However, the action has attracted mixed reactions on social media, with many commending their 'humility' and others wondering why anyone would choose to walk on one of the most important days of their life.
