ASUP drops bombshell, says "Rector orders closure of campuses because he  intends to carry out Rituals as usual on campuses"

Our attention has been drawn to the shadow chasing, diversionary tactics and antics of the Rector & his team. 

We have it on good authority what the rector is planning to do with the just released statement, which chiefly is to  distort facts and intimidate staff members in order to coerce them into submitting to his tyrannical policies. 

Mr Rector sir, if truly there was a conclusion at the last tripartite meeting, why are you attending another again? It is now glaring to all stakeholders that the Rector is fanning the ember of 'war', but we shall to the line of peace. (Omo Oba kii jagun bi eru). 

The Rector needs to understand that there is nothing like Management in a Tertiary institution, therefore the message is null and void. He also needs to understand the situation that could lead to total shut down of Tertiary institution, hence, he just goofed.

However, the release as published by the PRO has confirmed our fear that the Rector intends to carry out RITUALS as usual on OUR campuses and do not want such barbaric act exposed to students and staff.

We have resolved to continue following the path of peace using every lawful and legal means available to us in this circumstance. Comrades, be resolute as we are getting closer to the promise land.
