He Was arraigned on Monday oat the Naboomspruit Magistrate’s Court in Limpopo. Lethebo Rabalago has been charged with assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
His trial started with testimonies by a representative of the manufacturer of Doom, Tigerbrands.
The court also heard testimony by a representative of the Limpopo Agriculture Department, Catherine Mabitsela, who laid charges against Rabalogo. He claimed the insecticide would heal congregants.
A psychologist and a doctor are expected to also testify.
